Spam-Recognition Order

The list below shows step by step how Spam Reader is checking a message for spam. On every step different criteria are applied to check if the message is spam or not. The goal of the first steps is to check if the message has particular non-spam characteristics. This guarantees that important e-mails aren’t filtered out. Then Spam Reader checks the message for spam characteristics. Finally, Bayesian filtering algorithm is applied to analyze the message body. As soon as on some step the recognition is successful the checking process is terminated.
